Had a pretty bad experience just now. Was attending a dharma talk just now. Prior to this talk, i had only heard this speaker talk at GBC before, and in my opinion, that was a pretty disappointing talk. The feeling is like he was just impromptu trying to crack some jokes up there and comment a bit on what other speakers had commented. Like not very sincere. Today, i went not with full interest, but mabbe to see how it would be like for him to give a full talk, and also to drop my prejudice against him. However, it is very difficult for me to drop this prior image of him, and though i think a few others had enjoyed the talk, i wasn't listening 90% of the time and I think i had really wasted my time there. aLthough partly because something else had caught my attention 3/4 way into the talk. this together with some other stuffs I had observed about myself, i realised that i am really a very imperfect person...

Anyway the myanmar retreat details are more or less settled. Only left the other people part, like getting the stuffs that people had tolong us to bring over, and personal packing. Wanted to get Dickson to take some vaccine but failed to convince him of the importance... Sigh... Prevention is much better than cure... But anyway the malaria pills are damn expensive, which turns me and Dickson off immediately. $35 for 8 pills! Wah.... Anyone want to dana? Big bro, can I use yr $50 bucks for this good cause? Today morning, i will go to school to take my vaccination. Hope that i'm still in time... And btw, anyone knows where i can get anti-histamine for insects bite? Which is the best chinese medicine for stomach disorder and anyone has a light and portable iron or hair-dryer? Heard that clothes/robes are difficult to dry and get mouldy there.... and anyone got strong deet insect repellent to recommend and where i can buy from?

Had a pretty healthy morning today, waking up at around eight and after washing up and meditating, had gone for a short run. Had a bathe and now is sitting in front of my computer and slacking...

Still haven't touch on the topic yet... Oh no, how am i suppose to tell her? Sigh...

Got the gren light from army to go ahead with whatever I want to do. However they asked me to fulfill my duty for the coming mobilisation first. Tomorrow we are supposed to submit the list to them yet my detachment IC stil have not contact me and the 3IC to spread the load of calling the people up. Nevertheless I called him up to inform of my absence and what I could do. There was this particular guy who have no telephone contacts at all and hence I have to do a house check.

I had just came back from the house trip, waited outside for 15 minutes, coz I saw some light inside the house, those orange dim lights. However still no one answered. Hence I tried to ask the neighbours and found out that the the person I was looking for had shifted house liao. Now waiting for 10 pm so I can go try to ask the new occupants if they have the contacts of the previous owners.

Actually fell for it, send by wee pin. Not that i mind anyway, since i don't really trust it. Just feeling bo liao and interested to know how the results will turn up. As usual will just type whoever names that come to my mind, including Joan, probably because we have been talking about her. Now, hope he dun go and spread, haha...

Had dinner at Marche, suntec just now, with the birthday babe. Yup, he treat us, and yup the bag we gave him was the design he had wanted. Luckily so... After which we all just sat at the water fountain there at suntec, with gordon talking about his predicaments to gillian, who is listening to it for the first time. This time though, there were more explicit details. Sigh, why are these stuffs happening. I guess no humans is infallible. Btw big bro, thanx for helping me to fax, hopefully the stuff will get settled soon. Anyone wants to make donations to Pa Auk Tawya Meditation Centre? I can help, if i'm going there...

The past five days, to quite a few people, had seem to fly past. It is always true when you are having fun, like in FOC, that time flies. The converse is true, example army. Was glad that i had sign up for this camp. Even though I wasn't part of the main comm for this camp, I still tried hard to poke my nose into their affairs, and joining them for the trial games.

The first day was terrible for me. THE MOSQUITOES! Plenty of them, the night before. And it did not help that I had only started sleeping at 5 pm, watching the semi-finals of Euro 2004. And since I had no blankets, I was at the complete mercy of those insects. I tried to pull out wilsanto sarong out though it can only cover half of my body. That sleepy head had tucked in his sarong under his body. The next morning I was absolutely 'seh'.

Even though there was no freshman, I would still like to congratulate the committee and all those involved in organising this camp. I had fun.

Yesterday a sleepy head was tossing her head about on the bus. Who tell you not to sleep the night before, haha. I wished I could joining you all in playing throughout the night but i scared i really can't tong for the tuition the next day, sad man... :(

Called the army just now. As usual, they play taiji again, mindef telling me to call my unit, and after i call my unit, they told me to call mindef, the same number I had called earlier. Anyway decide to aplly for the Visa tomorrow. After getting, I should have a greater chance of approval to go overseas. Anyone can help me fax over?
