Apply 正骨水 for the past two night certainly help a lot. The swelling has subside much and the pain too, although it is still quite sensitive to movement, but today lab it wasn't really such a bother as it was the day b4...
Met sin, machan and bein siong for lunch today at yih. Funny combination but Machan specially came back for lunch cos i told him bein siong need to sign his CCA card urgently, and the stamp is with him (sohan). After my lab, help sin with the engin noticeboard, and met Nhan to chat up with him for a while, sin accompany me to NUH (make a mistake when i tot the x-ray wld be in YIH) for the x-ray. Actually kinda of dun want to waste the money going for x-ray since i'm 99% sure everything is fine now, esp since the pain n swelling has sudside so much but still went ahead anyway. Dunno what i'm thinking, waste money......
Went for the long-due ktv session with my jc frens. Actually i wasn't very on, more of an obligation, cos can't really find the mood to go singing now that the deadline is nearing, but decide to go anyway cos have always been the problem for them in trying to organise outings. As time progress though, i was enjoying the session more and more. It din matter that i had been out of touch with chinese pop for a long time. I realise that there are some pretty nice songs out there. Li Sheng Jie, muz go find all his song. Lin junjie also. and also huang yida - 蓝天. The best gotta be 张敬轩 - 断点. Can't get the song out of my head. Not with my bro playing this song day in day out. Sang this at KTV just now. Realise they all like this song too... Love this line esp: 深藏的暗涌已经越来越明显. Dunno why but it just sound very catchy to me.
Best part though is that we decide the theme for the night shall be retro and we had great fun and laughter to compete in finding old songs. Songs like 三年, 一剪梅, 好好爱我, etc... and 温柔的夜. Nice songs though. Had fun... Oh ya, tried those songs which i think are difficult to sing, 伤逝, my all time fav song 离人. My fren mention that once he went ktv, his other fren use this song as a warm-up. We all wah wah over this. At that instance can't think of other song higher than this. But then when we tried this song, and 彩虹 by powerstation, both down one key, i realise that this is easier to sing compared to 彩虹, in terms of highness... The worst song, mabbe because it is one of the last songs we sang, is 情牢 by hacken lee. Old and nice but difficult!!! Even though we down one key, but we also completely cannot make it. Totally buang. So paiseh. Somehow i think if Gor sing this song it will be very nice. Think such songs are meant for him. Or issit because i have heard him sing b4 at his place... hmmm....
Realised that my group is so different. Though most of us can hold a tune pretty decently, the limitations are there. And we need to down keys etc or just whacked our voice off. But the last time i went with kim sim, puay hong n vincent, they all can sing so well, make me feel so paiseh to sing w/o fear. Conclusion: I feel more at ease n fun singing with my not so good at singing jc frens. Haha...
