Capricorn = Stubborn?
I don't exactly like it when people tell me that i'm stubborn (I mean who will like it???) but I don't hate it either. Afterall everyone is free to express their opinions. Anyway I'm writing about this because Capricorns are said to be stubborn and a certain shifu from Hai Yin has told me i'm a bit stubborn, when he try to analysis my birth dates quite sometime ago... Yesterday, after badminton in school with my classmates, we went to clementi interchange to collect the stuffs from the malaysian delivery man (hee, guess what we had bought over there!) and after which went to the hawker centre to eat. Sat near where me, pearlyn and weiyang sat the other other time. And of course, the drink stall lady came to pester us. This time however, I was craving for something cold to drink and thus I ordered from her. Anyway what happen the other time, think it was a week ago, was that she kept insisting that we should buy something from her stall, coz we are using her table. I was really quite irk at that time and almost suggested shifting to another table, even though all our food were already on our table liao. However, weiyang finaly give in to her request and ordered something. Pearlyn then brought out this fact that capricorns were stubborn. Both me and pearlyn are capricorns and after reflecting, this might be true afterall, haha... Anyway to clarify, I did not want to buy a drink because they do not sell 仙草. I wanted to drink 仙草 at that time. After the lady was gone, i immediately went to get 仙草 to drink. Don't think this is call stubborn, just, hmmm, nothing wrong mah, haa...
Anyway the week that had just pass was quite a bad week for me in terms of my IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) occurence. Think almost everyday have... I have observe some interesting stuffs about my IBS, from 10 plus years of experiencing it (maybe not so interesting to others...)
- I sometimes can feel it coming the previous night...
- I use to think that if i wake up very early, it will occur, but apparently this week incidents tell otherwise.
- Usually stress related, like exams period, or maybe because it is during these periods my IBS occurence will be more noticeable, coz it might coz me to be late etc...
- If IBS was to occur that day, it will always take place 1 plus hours after I had woke up/had my first meal, meaning I will have to find a toilet within this period of time, else that's it...
- Will stop after 2 - 3 visits to the toilet. Usually not more than 3 hours after I had woke up/had my first meal. Otherwise it is not IBS, but means that I have diarrhoea liao, and i would be eating lomotil...
- I notice that almost certainly if I feel really cold during the night, I would have IBS the next day. You know sometimes you felt warm initially when u sleep but then the night got colder but you are too lazy to switch off the fan etc... Proof of this is during the 10 days Sayalay's retreat at Shuang Lin Monastery. I had cramps every morning till I got smarter and went to have some warm water the first thing in the morning... Think i cannot let my stomach be cold... Look at the 2nd point. Maybe that's also why I had thought that waking up early will cause IBS, because it is cold during early morning...
- triggered by some food? not very sure about that but personally think that this should be true...
Anyway, not even sure that I have IBS, haha... I had checked up this website and according to the Manning symptoms, http://www.angelfire.com/il/ibshelp/, i have 5 out of the 6 listed. The more symptoms you have, the more likely it is to be IBS. It is not a disease or illness and I don't think it can be cured, though some sites says that you should avoid some food. To me it is just bad karma... Anyway I think most people don't understand the inconvenience and the ordeal i have to go through though... To quote from the site - 'Unfortunately, to some doctors, IBS is not considered a "true" disease, but rather an unimportant minor condition (when in reality it is hardly all that "minor" to those who have to deal with it), and therefore may not be given the medical attention it deserves'. I agree, it is always very stressful to me to bear the pain and always having to find toilet, especially if I rushing for appointments or i'm outside. At home it is not so bad and I don;t really mind, but it is really inconvenient for me when i'm outside and IBS occur...
